We believe that finding a rhythm of meeting together helps us in our purpose to build community and enjoy God together. That’s why we have several planned gatherings throughout a normal month.
Romans 12 says, “Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.”
Here at Christ Central we function as a family, not as a business and one key differences between the two is that we want the entire family to feel connected into what we’re doing, passionate about the vision and for them to know that they have a part to play. We don’t believe in one or two people doing everything but believe the church should function and work together as a team.
One of the ways we outwork that is through recognizing and honoring Owners. We consider an Owner as someone who is simply ‘owning’ the vision of who we are as a church and practically this translates to being people who are giving, serving, gathering, praying or inviting others to be part of our community.
Part of being an Owner also means being part of the team here and every month we gather with those who consider themselves as owners to teach, train and equip them in a variety of topics and subjects. These evenings are the heartbeat of the church and involve times together in prayer and discussion and are a great way for us to journey together in outworking the vision and values of the Church.
